Lofrans' 40A magneto-hydraulic switch

Magneto-hydraulic switch for Lofrans' 40A windlass. The magnetic-hydraulic switch is an essential component of the electrical system.

It has three functions:

• protects against very dangerous short circuits
• protects the electric winch motor
• cuts off tension to the winch when desired

In the event of a short circuit, intervention is immediate. As regards the electric motor, a specific intervention curve has been studied in collaboration with ETA Germany. The switch can be reactivated when the intervention is completed. The magnetic switch comes with an elegant mounting plate and an LED light. This unit complies with EEC regulations and approved by Bureau, Veritas.
